I recently completed Udacity’s Responsive Web Design Fundamentals and Learn Backbone.js courses. I have mixed thoughts on these courses.
The responsive web design class was fantastic. I was able to follow along with the instructors during my lunch breaks for a few days and I got a better understanding about responsive web design.
The Backbone.js course might be the worst course experience that I’ve had with Udacity. The class basically a link to a Backbone.js book and then an idea for a project. I wish this course was like their Knockout.js course. The Knockout.js course had a small tutorial and then you moved to the final project. I enjoyed that experience more than reading documentation and trying to figure it out on my own.
I might take a break from Udacity and give other providers a chance.
